Following a vegan diet alone to lose weight will likely lead you away from your goals of achieving a lean healthy body long term. Removing the animal meats, dairy, and eggs is simply not enough to sustain weight loss efforts. This is due to several factors such as high-calorie plant foods and processed vegan junk food alternatives. It was not until I stumbled across a whole food plant-based diet free of salt, sugar, oil, alcohol, and flour that I was able to achieve my 34-pound weight loss nearly two years ago! I can officially say I lost the weight AND kept it off! Perhaps a WFPB diet free of SOS and SOFAS can help you on your weight loss journey, as well.
